In feeling stressed or rushed you need to take the time to relax and breath. Breathing in an out slowly while counting to twenty without thinking of anything else is going to give you the time needed for the feeling of hunger to pass. Avoid eating by taking your time and allowing that feeling of stress to pass. When you feel that stress is becoming a problem in your day, take a short walk around the house, around the block, or around the office. A little exercise when stress hormones start occurring in your body will put a quick stop to your need to eat. Plan breaks in your day to put an end to stress just for a short walk outside when possible. To ease stress from your life adding vegetables that you can munch on instead of reaching for that bag of chips or cookies is a method you can use for watching calories.
